As a graduate of the prestigious University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where Dr. Zia completed an advanced postdoctoral program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR), one of the latest ADA-recognized dental specialties. During her time at the University of Connecticut Health Center, she worked closely with The Center for Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry, honing her skills in analyzing CBCT scans to guide successful implant placements and reconstructive treatments with precision.

Dr. Zia’s dedication to excellence extends beyond the clinic. She served as a Resident Dentist at St. Mary Hospital, affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine, where she gained invaluable experience managing a wide range of dental and facial emergencies in both the Emergency Room (ER) and Operating Room (OR). From alleviating severe tooth pain to treating complex jaw fractures, her expertise ensures that patients receive the highest level of care, even in critical situations.

Meet Dr. Khashayar Changi - Your Dental Implant Specialist

Dr. Changi is a Board Certified Periodontist with advanced training from Columbia University. As a leader in his field, he specializes in diagnosing and treating periodontal and implant-related conditions using both non-surgical and surgical approaches.

With extensive expertise in oral implantology, Dr. Changi provides comprehensive care including immediate and delayed implant placement, digital treatment planning, guided bone regeneration, implant temporization, and management of implant-related diseases. His multidisciplinary approach ensures tailored solutions for each patient’s needs.

Recognized for his contributions to the field, Dr. Changi has received prestigious awards such as 1st place at the Tannenbaum/Schoor Memorial Competition and the Scholarly Presentation Award at the Northeast Implant Symposium for his innovative ‘Cytocone Technique.’
